Paul McCartney to Play Cowboys Stadium

Another big concert is coming to the new Cowboys Stadium: legendary musician Paul McCartney is playing there August 19.

Tickets for the event go on sale Monday, July 20, at all Ticketmaster outlets.

It's the former Beatles frontman's first concert North Texas concert in four years, and the only Texas appearance of his current tour.

He'll also play at Fenway park, Atlanta, Fedex Field in Maryland, and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

McCartney has most recently headlined the Coachella festival in California and The Joint in Las Vegas, with both shows garnering stunning reviews in papers like USA Today, The New York Times and Los Angeles Times.

Cowboys Stadium seats up to 80,000 people and can be expanded up to 100,000. There's no word yet on how the stadium will be configured or how many tickets organizers plan to sell.
