DALLAS - They risked their lives so the world would be a better place. Many of them were killed or wounded in the process.
Today, 35 veterans in North Texas were treated to a trip to Washington D.C. to see the World War II Memorial.
The free trip comes courtesy of the Honor Flight of Dallas, a volunteer group aimed at rewarding servicemembers.
