Bobcat Caught in North Texas Neighborhood

DUNCANVILLE, Texas - There's nothing like a dead squirrel for breakfast. Especially if you're a bobcat.

Animal control officers in Duncanville used a dead squirrel to lure a bobcat into a trap on Rock Canyon Drive Friday morning.

The adult animal was captured without incident, according to officers. The neighborhood is near a wooded creek where the large cat may have been seeking water.

Duncanville leaders say the bobcat will either be given to a big cat rehabilitation organization or released back into the wild.
