FORT WORTH, Texas - The city of Fort Worth agreed to pay $120,000 to a man who claimed he was abused by police.
Cass Hudson was handcuffed and arrested for DWI charges in 2008. When he was brought into the station, video recorded Officer Collin Harris slamming his face into a wall and then the floor.
Police said it does not appear the officer was provoked and the charges against Hudson were later dropped.
The city offered him $120,000 to settle a lawsuit, which was actually dismissed last Friday in court.
Watch the video above to find out why his mom asked the council not to approve the settlement.
