Body Parts Found at Lake Ray Hubbard

DALLAS - Human body parts, including a piece of an arm, were discovered at Lake Ray Hubbard, east of Dallas.

Police said someone walking near the lake found the parts in the dirt along the shoreline. Crime scene investigators also found clothing and a slide for a semi-automatic handgun in the area.

Police spent the day Friday searching both the water and the shore. They are trying to figure out how the items are linked and if a crime was committed.

It is not clear who the victim is or how long the pieces have been in the lake.
