Body Found in Storage Closet

FORT WORTH, Texas - A man was found dead inside of a patio storage closet at an east Fort Worth apartment complex.

Police said a woman had gone to the complex in the 6000 block of Bridge Street after being unable to contact her 23-year-old brother for the past couple of days.

She checked the storage closet after smelling a strong smell on the patio.

Police said the man had been dead at least three days.

They are awaiting autopsy results for a cause of death. In the meantime, they are treating the case as a homicide.
