Police Find Guns, Cash Box in Chase Suspect's Car

BALCH SPRINGS - Balch Springs police arrested a man, after he led them on a short overnight chase.

Officers tracked the suspect down at Belt Line Rd. and Canyon Ridge Dr., when he wrecked the car he was driving and ran.

In the vehicle, police found at least two guns and a cash box, believed to belong to a Mesquite car lot.

According to police, receipts and labeled checks inside were from that car dealer.

The suspect is in custody, and could robbery charges, in addition to evading arrest.
