The FBI is investigating two takeover bank robberies that happened in North Texas Friday.
In both cases, the armed robbers’ faces were covered and they were in and out of the banks quickly. But the agency still hopes some will come forward with information about them.
One robbery occurred at the Compass Bank in the 1400 block of West Danieldale Road in Duncanville just after 2 p.m.
Police said three masked men ran into the bank and demanded money. They fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
No one was hurt, police said.
Also about five hours earlier in the day two men went into a Wells Fargo bank in the 200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway in Kennedale and robbed it.
Police said they were armed with handguns and they wore black stockings instead of masks to cover their heads.
They escaped with an undisclosed amount of money, but no shots were fired and no one was injured, police said.
The FBI said it is not clear whether the two robberies are related.
