Dead Man Found in Steam Room

FORT WORTH - The Tarrant County Medical Examiner is trying to determine what killed an elderly man who was found in a fitness club's steam room.

The 81-year-old man, whose identity has not been released, was found unconscious and unresponsive in the Bally's Total Fitness at 6833 Green Oaks Rd., near Ridgmar Mall in Fort Worth.

Police say someone found him shortly before midnight. He was pronounced dead at Harris Hospital at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday.
