Loud Boom Rocks North Texas

Thousands of North Texans heard a loud noise that rattled windows and set off car alarms around 1:30 Thursday afternoon.
Reports of the sound ranged from Weatherford to northern Tarrant County to Wise County.
Some people say it sounded like an explosion, others said it was a sonic boom, possibly from a military aircraft from the Naval Air Station-Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth.
