A Waco judge has declared a mistrial in the trial of a 65-year-old Central Texas minister accused of possessing child pornography.
Henry Edgington of Chalk Bluff had pleaded not guilty, telling authorities he was doing research to get some Web sites shut down.
State District Judge George Allen declared the mistrial Wednesday after the McLennan County jury declared itself hopelessly deadlocked after 10 hours of deliberation.
Prosecutors say they haven't decided yet whether to retry the former pastor of the Elm Mott Church of Christ.
Police say the illegal images were found on Edgington's work computer at the Czech Inn in West, in his car and in a padlocked box in his bathroom.
