It's got luxury, amenities, and up to 10 inches of water in some places. It's the new Omni hotel in downtown Fort Worth.
A four-inch water pipe burst around 1 a.m. in the recently opened upscale hotel, sending at least 100,000 gallons of water spewing into halls and an elevator shaft.
No injuries were reported, and no guests were evacuated from the hotel at 1300 Houston St.
The water leak affected the second through the tenth floors, and squads of cleanup crews lined the streets by daybreak.
They planned to tackle the mess with wet-dry vacuums and fans.
