Police are looking for a serial robber who has hit at least five banks in Tarrant County, the most recent within that last couple of hours.

Fort Worth police got a call around 3:30 p.m. Friday about a robbery at the Bank of America in the 3100 block of University Drive.

They believe the suspect is the same person who robbed a bank on South Hulen Street Thursday afternoon and in Lake Worth earlier this week. He may also have robbed other banks in Fort Worth on July 16 and 23.

Investigators are scrambling to catch him.

He is described as a white man who is about 50 years old. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs about 160 pounds and has a mustache.

He was also wearing a navy blue New York ball cap, black sleeveless t-shirt, glasses, dark-colored shorts and white tennis shoes during one of the robberies.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS.

A cash reward is available for anyone who can provide information leading to an arrest.
