Teen Kidnapped, Stripped Ex-Wife: Cops

DENTON - Denton police arrested a man for allegedly kidnapping his ex-wife, beating up her new boyfriend, then leaving the woman naked by the side of the road.

Juan Garcia, Jr., is facing charges of burglary, assault and kidnapping.

Police got a call Thursday morning from the 1800 block of Teasley Lane.

The roommate of Garcia's ex-wife called to say that Garcia had allegedly broken into the apartment and attacked a man sleeping in his ex-wife's bed.

Police say he forced his ex-wife from the apartment into his car and drove her to Corinth, where he made her get out of the car and take off her clothes.

Garcia then drove away, leaving the naked woman standing by the side of the road, police say.

Officers later tracked down the 19-year-old man at his apartment and arrested him.
