Police say a teen is recovering after she and a friend were attacked by a group of angry girls in southwestern Fort Worth.
The victims, and 18-year-old girl and her 17-year-old friend female friend, left the Wal-Mart at 6300 Oakmont Blvd. near Hulen St. just after midnight Tuesday morning.
Police say they were approached in the parking lot by a group of seven teenaged girls. The suspects demanded money and refused to let the victims get in their car.
Officers say one of the attackers suddenly punched the older teen, while her younger friend managed to run away.
The suspects stole money, jewelry, and other items in the car. Police say the teen who got punched has bruises to her face and head.
