GRAPEVINE, Texas - A woman is in custody after a security breach at a DFW Airport security checkpoint Wednesday morning.
UPDATE: PLANE LEFT GATE WITH GUN ON BOARD
According to Luis Casanova of the Transportation Security Agency, the woman went through the screening process at gate D-30 at 6:20 a.m.
An agent detected a firearm in her carry-on bag, but the woman left the checkpoint "before the screening process was complete," according to the TSA.
Officials shut down Terminal D to search for the woman.
They eventually found her and took her to the DFW Airport Department of Public Safety Headquarters for questioning.
The woman is now in the custody of the Dallas Police Department.
