DALLAS - In an effort to save money, Dallas and Fort Worth will close most of their offices on Wednesday.

Both cities are furloughing non-essential employees without pay.

However, police, fire-rescue and garbage service will operate as usual in both cities.

Dallas and Fort Worth have each planned several such furlough days that are expected to save the cities millions of dollars.

For specifics on each city's furlough day, including affected services, visit the links below.
