When kids in Fort Worth head back to school, they'll find new technology in the classroom. Teachers there have replaced the old chalkboards and whiteboards with new interactive digital boards.
The school district plans to have $23 million worth of digital boards installed in every classroom by December.
The boards have motion effects and sound effects. They respond to touch and can connected to student handheld devices.
"Students, they're the digital natives. We're trying to keep up with them," said teacher Shana Ellason.
