Everman Sub Accused of Sex Abuse

FORT WORTH, Texas - Fort Worth police are investigating a substitute teacher for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old Everman Junior High School student.

According to police, the girl recently told her father about the relationship, which she claims started last spring and continued through the summer.

Police said they are also investigating the possibility that there were other student victims.

The Everman school district confirmed it is cooperating with police in the investigation. However, officials pointed out that the suspect was terminated for an unrelated issue “some time ago” and has not been in a classroom since then.

Police are in the initial stages of the investigation and have not arrested or charged the man.
