CADDO MILLS, Texas - Among the best haunted houses in North Texas is Caddo Mills'

, east of Dallas on Interstate 30.

The attraction is open Thursday through Sunday nights from mid-September past Halloween.

Haunt World, a nationally-recognized website for the industry ranked Haunt House the best in Texas in 2010. This year it was rated 2nd behind one in Austin.

It's a very gory non-stop fright fest where scary actors are encouraged to mix it up.

Haunt House is, in fact, a very frightening place, which is why it's so popular with people who like to be frightened.

However, it's also probably not suitable for young children. Parents should think twice before they bring their children.
