Man Arrested for Mesquite Mom’s Death

A Mesquite man is custody for allegedly killing his wife while her two children were home.

Police said relatives called Wednesday afternoon to report they were concerned about the wellbeing of 29-year-old Lashalyn Robinson.

Officers found her dead inside her home in the 2800 block of Cresthaven Drive. Two children were also in the home, but they were unharmed, police said.

Investigators believe Robinson’s husband, 31-year-old Quenturus Robinson, is responsible for her death.

He was arrested and charged with murder.
