Someone killed a man at a park in Allen with other people nearby.
A Good Samaritan rushed to help 21-year-old Faran Khan at Ford Park early Wednesday evening and performed CPR until first responders arrived.
Investigators said Khan had a puncture wound, but they are not sure what kind of weapon was used.
“There were people in the area enjoying the parks when they heard an argument they went down to see what was going on and they found this young man lying on the ground and they called 911,” said Sgt. Nicole Shaw.
Khan died later at a Plano hospital.
Police haven’t made any arrests and they said they do no know what the motive was for the attack.
They encourage anyone with information to call the Allen Police Department at 214-509-4239 or 214-727-TIPS.
Family and friends said Khan was a graduate of Allen High School and a student at Collin County Community College. He also played cricket with the North Texas Cricket Association.
