The State Board of Education started the final round of hearings Wednesday, on the re-write of the Social Studies curriculum for Texas schools.
Critics charge that the board is forcing a convervative ideology on students. Supporters say the board is simply trying to balance a liberal-leaning curriculum.
Is one side correct? Do both sides have legitimate gripes?
