DALLAS - One of the two men allegedly responsible for beating a Dallas woman and stealing her $90,000 diamond ring is now behind bars.
Dallas police believe 53-year-old Bryan Maurice Fuller was driving the white Jaguar seen in surveillance video outside a Preston Hollow neighborhood Whole Foods store on Jan. 25.
The video also shows a man get out of that Jaguar. He walks up to a woman, hits her several times and then knocks her to the ground. He then rips the diamond ring off her finger and takes a necklace.
Witness and viewer tips helped police track down Fuller in Wichita Falls. They are still looking for the second suspect and the stolen ring.
Shoppers at Whole Foods said they are relieved that police have made an arrest.
“I’m pleased. I hope that’s a deterrent,” said Lisa Davisson.
Mary Ann Paul said she feels better, but thinks women still need to be careful.
