Arlington police on Friday arrested a man they said likely stole a Dallas SWAT officer's gear from his vehicle.

Officials said two Pantego police officers were working off-duty at Six Flags in Arlington when they spotted Estaban Casilla acting suspiciously.

The officers searched the 24-year-old's vehicle and found a SWAT badge, they said.

Arlington police arrested Casilla at the scene.

Officials said Casillas has been released from custody pending theft charges.

Police said the badge came form an unmarked SWAT vehicle that was burglarized early Thursday morning in Dallas .

Thousands of dollars worth of equipment was stolen, including high powered rifles, special body armor, uniforms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
