A Corpus Christi teen is accused of attacking another youth by using a nail-studded board to cause more than two dozen wounds.

Seventeen-year-old Federico Garcia of Corpus Christi remained in the Nueces County Jail on Wednesday on a charge of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.
Booking clerk Mary Lou Cortez said bail was $75,000. She told The Associated Press that there was no attorney listed for Garcia.
Capt. Todd Green says 17-year-old John Hernandez of Corpus Christi had 26 stab wounds when he was discovered early Saturday outside a residence.
Green said Hernandez suffered non-life threatening injuries. Police later determined the apparent weapon was a board with nail studs. Police did not immediately provide further details Wednesday.
Police say Garcia was arrested Tuesday afternoon at a home.
