Dallas police are looking for Tony Romo – not the football player, but a man they believe has robbed multiple area businesses.
Police suspect 21-year-old Anthony Elias Romo is one of two men responsible for at least 10 robberies since August 15, including one at the Azteca Meat Market on Forest Lane and one at the Big C Grocery on Irving Boulevard.
In most cases, Romo and his partner appear to be shopping before allegedly brandishing weapons and demanding money, police said.
The pair may be getting more violent. Police said they can be seen on surveillance video pointing a gun at a cashier’s face and in one case a store employee was shot.
They encourage anyone with information to call the Dallas Police Department robbery unit at 214-671-3584.
Romo's mugshot is available in the slideshow above. His partner is described as a Latin male who is between 30 and 40 years old. He is between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and weights about 180 pounds.
Surveillance video of both suspects is available on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qh2YzpEbo2k .
