DALLAS - Dallas police arrested several people on Thursday for allegedly soliciting sex, including a man with an infant in his back seat.

The arrests were part of a summer crime initiative called Operation Triangle. It focuses on violent crime, property crimes and public disorder.

For the public disorder part of the equation, the vice unit conducted a prostitution decoy operation. Two undercover officers posed as hookers at a south Dallas carwash know for prostitution.

In the first hour alone, the officers arrested four men.

“I didn’t do anything. Please leave me alone. I didn’t do nothing. I didn’t do nothing!” cried Christopher Middleton, a man whose young son was in the car when he was arrested.

The men are charged with Class B misdemeanors, punishable by up to 180 days in jail and a $2,000 dollar fine.

Police said so far Operation Triangle is ahead of schedule. Officers have already arrested 178 people this summer, compared to 193 during all of last summer.
