A Waffle House waitress is accused of shooting a customer after a dispute at the restaurant led to a food fight, then gunfire.
"I thought I was gonna get me an All-Star," said victim Crystal Samuel to television station WLTX. What she ended up with was a bullet fragment in her arm.
Waitress Yakeisha Ward, 29, is charged with assault and battery with intent to kill.
Samuel says she placed a to-go order with friends, but their food came first. While they were waiting for Samuel's order, the friends began eating their food from the carry-out boxes.
Samuel says Ward tried to stop the diners, then asked them to leave the restaurant. Words flew, then Samuel admits she threw a waffle at Ward.
That's when the fight turned physical and spilled into the parking lot.
Clarendon County Sheriff's investigators say Ward retrieved a gun from her car and a magazine from the trunk.
"It's poor judgement on her part to settle this matter with a weapon," Sheriff Randy Garrett told WLTX-TV.
The gun discharged during the fight, but deputies say Ward also pistol-whipped Samuel.
"She got the last lick," said Samuel.
