Swimmer's Butt Exposed in Suit Split

PESCARA, Italy - You'd think a bathing suit that costs more than $500 wouldn't fall apart, right?

Wrong.

The swanky suit cost Olympic swimmer Flavia Zoccari more than money -- it cost her a shot at a championship Wednesday.

The 22-year-old Italian had to sit out a race in the Mediterranian Games yesterday when her bathing suit's back seam split -- right on her butt.

Zoccari wept when judges disqualified her.

The high-tech suits use bonded seams instead of ones that are stitched or glued, for less resistance in the water.
