Dirk Engaged?

Dallas Mavericks superstar Dirk Nowitzki is engaged to Dallas art curator Jessica Olssen, according to a mediatakeout.com report .

The website quotes a source it describes as being "very credible" that Nowitzki proposed to his longtime girlfriend this weekend.

"Dirk told her that they would get married after the season's over," the site quotes the source as having said.

Olssen's parents are wealthy and originally from Sweden, the online outlet reports.

Nowitzki had a previous high-profile relationship with Cristal Taylor , a woman who was jailed on a theft charge and had claimed to be pregnant with his child. Tests later determined Taylor was not pregnant.
