Man Guilty of Missing Wife's Murder, Jury Says

A jury has found a Denton County man guilty of killing his estranged wife, even though her body was never found.

After 10 hours of deliberation, jurors decided Charles Stobaugh murdered his wife Kathy in December 2004.

The couple was going through a divorce.

During closing arguments on Wednesday morning, prosecutors said Stobaugh was the last to be with Kathy and she hasn’t been seen since.

Defense attorneys tried to argue there was not enough evidence because Kathy’s body was never found.
