Sandusky Could Post $250K Bail Today

Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky remains behind bars Thursday morning on new child sex abuse charges.

Police led him away in handcuffs Wednesday. Two more victims have come forward.

According to a grand jury report, one of them says he was sexually assaulted over a period of years in a bedroom in Sandusky's basement and that, on at least one occasion, he screamed for help knowing Sandusky's wife was home, but his screams went unanswered.

FOX 29'S Chris O'Connell reported from State College on Thursday morning that Sandusky could post bail. If so, he'll need $250,000 to do so, and he would have to wear a tracking device after being released.

Meanwhile, we're also learning more about that other coaching job Sandusky tried to get while he was under investigation.

Officials for Juniata College say Sandusky was denied a volunteer coaching job last year after a background check showed he was being investigated by a high school where he had previously volunteered.

After he was denied the job, the Juniata reiterated to its coaches that Sandusky was to have no contact with their teams.

Despite that, ESPN and other wire services are reporting that Sandusky did attend games, including at least one Juniata road game in the press box.

FOX 29's Jenn Frederick has more on this side of the story in this video report.
