White powder letters sent to Parkland hospital - Dallas News | myFOXdfw.com

Hazmat crews were called to Parkland hospital Wednesday afternoon because of a white powder scare.

Investigators said a letter containing a suspicious substance was opened on the hospital's eighth floor. But it was harmless and probably was talcum powder.

The letter was similar to other white powder letters delivered to schools, businesses and government offices in North Texas and other cities over the past two months.

No one was evacuated from the hospital.
