Atlanta Weather Forecast - Sunday

Updated:

SHOWERS AND T-SHOWERS RETURN TUESDAY

After a beautiful end to Easter weekend it looks a cold front will arrive on Tuesday bringing with it showers and a few t-showers.

TIMING: Showers and t-showers will arrive in metro Atlanta on Tuesday beginning around the noon hour here in Atlanta. Showers will continue on and off throughout the day before tapering off during the evening. Right now it doesn’t look like much in the way of t-storms with this system, but a few t-showers could produce gusty winds during the afternoon. Rain totals will range from .50” to .75” with isolated heavier amounts.

WARMER TEMPS: Finally some warmer air will move in to stay during this upcoming week. Look for highs each day to be in the mid to upper 70s and overnight lows in the upper 50s to near 60 by the end of the week.

POLLEN: Although still in the high category the pollen count is finally starting to come back to reality after the extreme readings the past few weeks. Look for reading to remain in the hundreds (not thousands!) through the end of the month before falling to levels below 100 by the first week of May.
