PHOENIX (AP) - A California divorce attorney accused in the 2010 death of a Phoenix-area man has pleaded not guilty.
Maricopa County prosecutors say 52-year-old Robert Fischer entered his plea at his arraignment Wednesday. He was arrested May 3 on suspicion of second-degree murder.
Fischer is accused in the death of 49-year-old Norman "Lee" Radder, who authorities initially believed had fatally shot himself inside his Queen Creek home on Dec. 30, 2010.
Authorities later determined Radder's death was staged as a suicide and Fischer was present during the killing. Court records also show a gun that belonged to Fischer was found in Radder's hand.
Radder lived in Orange County, Calif., for several years and published a magazine for dirt bike enthusiasts.
Fischer, of Irvine, has a law office in Garden Grove, Calif.
