A man allegedly shot a boy for setting off explosives Thursday in St. Louis.
According to investigators, 56-year-old William Prada shot at three boys who were allegedly setting off fireworks in an alleyway.
They said Prada first argued with the boys and then opened fire when the youngsters fled on their bikes.
An 11-year-old in the group was shot in the thigh and transported to a local hospital. The two others were not injured.
Prada was charged Friday with three counts of assault and armed criminal action and was held on a $75,000 bond.
Prada has no prior criminal history.
