An Illinois man was convicted this week of trying to gouge out his uncle's eyes while the two fought over a television remote control.
Thirty-three year old Exulam Holman could face up to 14 years in prison, according to the Joliet Herald-News. He will be sentenced in October.
His 63-year-old uncle, Clifford Melvin, testified he returned home to the house the two shared on New Year's Eve when Holman pinned him to the ground.
Holman pushed his thumbs into Melvin's eye sockets while shouting, "There can only be one king."
Four years ago, Holman stood trial for attacking his brother with garden shears over a bowl of chili. He was acquitted of that charge, the paper reported.
