Irving teen on bike hit by car - Dallas News | myFOXdfw.com

A 17-year-old boy riding a bike was critically injured Tuesday evening in Irving.

Police said he was trying to cross the road when he was hit by a car that was driving east on Irving Boulevard, near the Irving YMCA.

The driver immediately stopped and tried to help, police said.

Traffic investigators said the driver was not at fault and no charges will be filed.

The teen was taken to Parkland hospital in critical condition.
