Driver critically injured in accident near Detroit's Eastern Market

Police say a man driving this white Buick was critically injured in an accident Wednesday morning.
DETROIT (MyFox Detroit) -
Police believe alcohol was a factor leading to a crash that injured four people, including a three-year-old boy, near Detroit's Eastern Market.
Police say a man driving a Buick slammed into a pickup truck on the exit ramp from northbound I-75 to Gratiot Avenue around 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Witnesses say the impact flipped the Buick and sent it crashing into the back of car hauler. Rescue crews used the Jaws of Life to remove the driver, who was transported to a local hospital and is said to be in critical condition.
Two men in the pickup and the three-year-old suffered minor injuries. They were taken to Henry Ford Hospital and are expected to fully recover.
Two lanes of traffic had been blocked for nearly three hours during the investigation.
