A North Texas man was arrested last week because he allegedly tattooed a 14-year-old girl. The girl's mother was also arrested because she gave her permission.
Parker County lawmen arrested 31-year-old Lydie Mathers of Springtown on Thursday. She is free on bond.
Investigators believe Mathers' 39-year-old fiance, Brian Sporn of Flower Mound, tattooed the letters "SS" on the teen's leg, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
It's the girl's third tattoo, lawmen discovered.
According to Texas law, a tattoo artist cannot work on anyone under 18.
Mathers faces one count of injury to a child and one count of violating tattoo regulations. Sporn is facing one count of violating tattoo regulations. He is also a registered sex offender.
