Long Nguyen and Huong LyPolice are again making a plea to the public months after the death of an Arlington couple.
On June 10, 63-year-old Huong Ly and 72-year-old Long Nguyen were found dead inside their apartment in the 3600 block of Waverly Drive.
The medical examiner said they were suffocated and police said the crime scene indicated their deaths were violent.
Police believe more than one person was involved and that this was a crime of opportunity. They have no suspects, though.
Investigators have followed leads and taken tips, but so far none of the information has matched the physical evidence.
The Vietnamese community and the couple's family said they are desperate for answers.
"We hope that they will step forward because this is someone's mom, someone's father and someone's brother and sister. And it's just that we'd like to bury them with the peace of mind knowing why and who," said Cindy Dao, the family's spokeswoman.
Oak Farms Dairy is still offering up to a $10,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
Police are hoping someone with personal knowledge of the crime will come forward.
Tips can be made by calling Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS (8477). Anonymous tips are welcome.
