Football fans might get a surprise if they go looking for America's Team online.
Five years after the Dallas Cowboys decided not to purchase the domain name "Cowboys.com," the address now points to a gay dating site.
According to sports news website Deadspin, In 2007, the team participated in an auction to purchase the domain. However, they backed out when they realized the agreed price of "275" meant $275,000, not $275.
The domain eventually was sold for about $100,000 more, but was not used, until now.
Cowboys.com's front page asks, "Are you a country western cowboy looking for a man to ride into the sunset with?" and features photos and biographies of members.
