DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police are hoping security cameras can help lead them to a man who fatally stabbed a bouncer outside a Detroit night club over the weekend.

Detroit police say 40-year-old Lou Ferrin was stabbed in the neck by a male patron he was ejecting from Club Pandemonium around 1 a.m. Sunday.

Family members say Ferrin was working at the club as a second job to support his family. The father of three owned his own security business.

Ferrin is the second person working security at the night club to die on the job in the past three months. Back in June, Marcel Jackson was gunned down outside the club. His killer remains on the loose.

Anyone with information on either murder is asked to call Detroit police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
