Mesquite police need help to find a gunman who robbed a fast-food restaurant before dawn last week.
Lt. Bill Hedgpeth with the Mesquite police department says the suspect stormed into the Carl's Jr. in the 2100 block of Galloway at 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17.
He wore a dark blue bandanna over his face and brandished a pistol as he herded one employee into a back room walk-in cooler.
Then he made another worker open two cash registers and put the money in a bank bag. The suspect can be seen on video holding the gun to her head several times.
After emptying the registers, the gunman opened the door to a different walk-in cooler and pistol whipped the back of the worker's head as she goes inside.
Lt. Hedgpeth says the suspect was about 6 feet 2 inches, weighs 180 pounds and wore a purple fleece jacket, black windpants and white tennis shoes.
