Crandall police car crushed in accident

Posted: Updated:
CRANDALL, Texas -

Two people were taken to the hospital after a car rear-ended a Crandall police squad car Thursday morning.

The accident happened on Highway 175 near FM 1389 in southeast Seagoville.

From SKY 4, the Crandall police vehicle appeared to have no trunk or back seat, because the metal had been shoved forward. The front seat area appeared to be untouched.

Seagoville investigators say two people are now in Dallas hospitals. It's not clear if both the victims were drivers, or in the other vehicle.
