A strange object captured in the Google Street View of one Texas town is drawing some attention.

The red saucer shape appears in the sky over Jacksonville, Texas.

• Pan up and around

However, FOX 4 News viewer Russell Feddersen pointed out that the peculiar item also appears elsewhere in the view, at street level, adding to the likelihood that the UFO is simply a lens flare.

A Houston woman initially reported the finding to KLTV after searching for directions to Jacksonville.

Google also captured the object above the Sky City Casino Hotel in New Mexico.
