ARLINGTON, Texas -

A school bus caught fire in an accident involving two other cars early Wednesday morning on a busy highway.

The 7:30 a.m. accident spun at least one of the cars into the grassy median of I-30 near Collins Street, while the bus ended up on top of a center railing in the median. Shortly afterward, the bus's engine caught fire.

No children were on board the bus, and the driver managed to get out. There's no word whether any other drivers were hurt.

However, all main eastbound lanes of I-30 were closed. All traffic is being diverted into the HOV lane and the traffic has slowed to a crawl.
