Posted: Updated:
DALLAS -

Two people died when their car went out of control, crashed and burst into flames early Friday morning.

Dallas police say just before 1:30 a.m.,  the car was on the northbound frontage road of Highway 75 (Central Expressway) approaching Lemmon Avenue when the driver lost control.

The vehicle smashed through a wrought iron fence and struck a utility pole before it caught fire.

The power went out in the area, including to the Amli of City Place Apartments. Emergency crews had to shut down power to even more businesses and residents to remove the vehicle.

A nearby resident caught the fiery crash on video and uploaded it to YouTube. (WARNING: LANGUAGE, GRAPHIC)

The names of the victims have not yet been released. Stay with FOX 4 News and myfoxdfw.com for more information as it becomes available.
