The number seven subway line will be suspended for five weekends this fall between Queensboro Plaza and Times Square.

The disruptions will faciliate the installation of the signal system on the Flushing Line.

The suspensions begin at 11:45 p.m. on Fridays and last through 5 a.m. on Mondays during the following weekends:

October 5-8

October 19-22

October 26-29

November 9-12

November 16-19

E, F, N, Q, S and free shuttle buses will provide alternate service, according to the MTA.

(Information from MTA):

Customers should use the E, F, N or Q to travel between Manhattan and Queens. There is a free shuttle bus operating between Vernon Blvd.-Jackson Avenue and Queensboro Plaza. Q service will be extended to and from Astoria-Ditmars Blvd. during the daytime hours. In Manhattan, the 42nd Street S shuttle will operate overnight throughout the weekend.
